For your 147-project graveyard

Finish tracks.

Not loops.

Drop your messiest WIP. In 60 seconds I’ll tell you the one thing missing, why it matters in your genre, and the exact fix in your DAW. Most producers ship a track they’d been stuck on for months within the first 3 reads. First two are on me.

The Report

Not "your low end needs work."The actual numbers.

Six stages. Real numbers. The specific fix, calibrated to your genre and named in your DAW. Not “try EQ.” Try this: pull 2.5dB at 350Hz on your pad bus in Ableton.

getcoda.tech/report/midnight-drive-v2
critical

Your kick and bass are fighting below 80Hz

The sub-bass is way too loud right now. It is eating all the space your kick needs to punch through. One sidechain fix clears this up.

important

Mid-range is getting crowded around 300Hz

Three elements are stacking up in the same range. Try pulling down about 2-3dB at 350Hz on your pad. You will hear the mix open up immediately.

polish

Hi-hats have a slight edge above 9kHz

Not a big deal, but a gentle dynamic EQ cut at 9kHz will smooth the top end without losing energy.

What is working

Your stereo image is well-balanced with clear center definition for kick and bass. The panning on the hi-hats gives the mix nice width up top. Keep this. Most producers I hear in this genre lose the center to wide reverbs.

Genre Intelligence

Your genre. Not 'good sound in general.'

Amapiano isn’t pop isn’t drill isn’t deep house. Each one has its own frequency targets, arrangement norms, and loudness ceilings. CODA knows yours. The advice you’ve been getting on YouTube doesn’t.

Why CODA

Not anotherloudness maximizer

LANDR slaps a limiter on it. eMastered does the same. iZotope sells you a $499 plugin chain and a YouTube playlist. None of them tell you why the track wasn’t ready. CODA does.

01 / 03

A coach who listens past the chorus

80% of "mix problems" are actually arrangement problems. You can't EQ your way out of a chorus that doesn't lift. I catch the structural stuff before you waste a Saturday pushing faders.

02 / 03

Specific notes, not generic advice

Not "your low end is heavy." More like: "your sub between 20 and 80Hz is sitting at 34% of energy. Deep house lives at 22%. Pull 4dB on the sub bus at 60Hz and re-render." Numbers. Targets. A move you can make in 90 seconds.

03 / 03

Remembers every track you bring

Every track you bring builds your scorecard. I remember the moves you've made, the patterns in your mixes, and the habits dragging your sound down. Three reads in, I'm coaching the producer, not just the track.

How CODA coaches

From guessingto knowing

Press play. This is the kind of note CODA gives at every stage of finishing a track. Specific, genre-aware, and ready to action.

Your verse and chorus hit at the same energy, so the drop never lands. Mute the shaker and one synth layer in the verse. Now the chorus opens up.

Stop guessing.Start finishing.

Drop your bounce. Six stages of coaching back to you in under 60 seconds.
